Armen Babadzhanyan joined Tatweer group in October 2023 as a head of electrical and energy industry division contributing his 30-year experience in the field.

Armen is responsible for the Group industrial electrical equipment portfolio companies including joint ventures with leading Saudi manufacturers and EPC contractors in the field of electrical power grid and power distribution development aiming at assisting the Kingdom in its ambitious growth plans according to VISION2030.
Armen holds BA in International Management from Amsterdam School of Business (UvA) and BA in Management from Plymouth University Business School.

He has started his career in ABB in 1995 and went on to lead Automation Division in Oil and Gas sector. Later led various manufacturing companies in electrical products manufacturing.
While becoming a key supplier of electrical equipment to oil and gas development projects Sakhalin (far-east Russia), Armen gained significant competence in working with world oil majors like Shell, ExxonMobil, Gazprom, Lukoil and others.

Armen also has over 8-year experience in lumber and wood processing industry as CEO of major hard-wood harvesting and processing company.
